Our Story
We've all been there: it's a beautiful Saturday morning, the kids are full of energy, and the inevitable question comes up - "What are we doing today?" The search begins, hopping between community websites, library calendars, and social media groups, trying to find something fun, local, and affordable. It's exhausting.
Growing Up Chicago was born out of that exact frustration. We are a small team of local parents who believe that discovering family-friendly activities in this amazing city shouldn't be a chore. We wanted to create a single, reliable, and easy-to-use place where you could see all the incredible kids' events happening across Chicago and the suburbs at a glance.
